OUR PROGRAMS

 

Chess Unlimited offers multiple programs designed to fit your lifestyle needs and skill level.  Find what works for you in one or all of the programs below.



 

Scholastic Program

[Semester] - An in-person, entertaining and guided introduction to the game of chess for students enrolled in public, private and charter schools.  These classes are held once a week on the school campus with a new class beginning each semester.

 

 

Online Chess Club

[10-12 Weeks] - Teaches students foundational concepts of chess, from rules and piece movement, to basic opening strategy and intermediate tactics, ensuring students quickly begin enjoing the game and the competitive aspects of tournament play.  This program is suited well to Homeschoolers as well as individuals seeking further advancement from the Scholastic Program.

 

Mastery Program

[Monthly/Recurring] - A comprehensive & in-depth series of courses that takes students from their assesed level into a higher proficiency. Students must test into advancing topics to progess through each level.  This program is also suited well to Homeschoolers as well as those seeking further advancement from the Scholastic Program or Online Chess Club.  

 

 

Tournament Play

Tournament play takes the fun of chess to a whole new level. As a voluntary complement to all Chess Unlimited Programs, students are welcomed and encouraged to compete in exciting tournament play. They will compete against other students of their skill level in Beginner or Advanced sections. The league provides opportunities to display the skills acquired from their chess program and experience the social aspect of chess competition by participating in individual and team play.
